Absolutely love my new King bed!

From the moment it was set up, I could tell it was a great investment. The charcoal fabric looks so stylish and modern — it fits perfectly with my bedroom and gives it that clean, luxe feel without being over the top.

The gas lift storage is a total game changer. It’s so easy to lift (even one-handed!) and there’s heaps of space underneath, which has helped me keep everything so much more organised and clutter-free. The added drawer is also super handy for everyday items.

It feels really sturdy and well-made, and the fabric finish adds a soft, cozy touch. You can tell the quality is there, and it’s built to last.

Overall, I’m beyond happy with this bed — practical, stylish, and worth every cent. Highly recommend!

The Emily King Fabric Gas Lift Storage Drawer Bed in Charcoal from WFC is a standout piece for anyone looking to combine elegant design, generous storage, and solid construction in their bedroom (so long as they’re prepared for the build).

Visually, the bed makes an immediate impression. The charcoal fabric upholstery feels sophisticated and grounding, adding depth without overpowering the room. It has a tailored, upholstered look that brings a sense of refinement and comfort, working beautifully across modern, classic, and contemporary interiors.

The padded frame also adds a layer of softness that makes the bed feel inviting and well-considered.

In terms of quality, this bed is undeniably robust. Once assembled, it feels extremely solid and stable - very much a “built to last” piece.

The weight of the materials is noticeable, which speaks to its durability and strength but also sets expectations early: this is not a lightweight or quick-assembly item. Construction is not for beginners. The bed is heavy, involves multiple components, and took several hours to put together, even with care and patience. This is definitely a situation where having a second person (or professional assembly) makes a big difference.
