Here is your survival guide for scoring big, saving big, and making it home with your dream furniture.

When you shop at our WFC Clearance Events you will find that it isn’t like strolling through your average, styled showroom.

It’s bigger, busier, and rewarding if you come prepared.

Here’s your first-timer checklist so that you can shop like a pro!

1. Your measurements

The golden rule with warehouse shopping: Measure twice, regret never.

• Room dimensions (width, length, height)
• Doorways, hallways, and stairs
• Car boot or trailer space

Pro tip: Keep these in your phone notes and bring a tape measure with you.

2. Tape measure

Sure, the dimensions are listed on our products, but nothing beats double checking in real life.

• Check the footprint in your home
• Confirm that it will fit in your vehicle
• Avoid the dreaded “Pivot!” moving day

3. A transport plan

When you find “the one” and want to take it home straight away, these will be handy to bring along:

• Ute, trailer, van, or a mate with one of these
• Ratchet straps, or ropes for securing loads

If you can’t transport it yourself, know our delivery options ahead of time and organize with our friendly team!

4. A shopping buddy (or two)

Furniture is a team sport.

• One to help lift
• One to keep an eye on your others while you pay
• Someone to talk you out of (or into) that 7-seater lounge you’ve fallen in love with.

5. Payment ready

We accept various payment methods, but being ready saves you time at the counter.

• Card or digital wallet
• No laybys or holds, it’s first in, best dressed.

6. Comfy clothes and shoes

It’s a warehouse, it’s huge, and you will be on your feet between testing our lounges. So you’re going to want to wear:

• Flat comfy shoes, or joggers
• Comfy clothes depending on the season and weather.

7. Water and a hankering for free coffee and/or sausage sizzle

Our sale events usually include a free sausage sizzle and free coffee. Just keep an eye on our event announcements to see what will be out that sale event.

8. Wishlist & Inspo Pics

It’s easy to get distracted by everything in our warehouse. Having these will help you keep focus and hopefully away from impulse purchases:
